Rome Day 5. We started the day exploring the gorgeous Vatican Gardens. It was a very tranquil place with unique elements like the Grotto of Lourdes and a piece of the Berlin Wall.

Rome Day 4. To break up the tours, we did a cooking class with @inromecooking and started by meeting at a Farmer’s Market to purchase all of our fresh produce.

Marco, our chef, was incredible at helping prepare gluten free pizza’s for M

Rome Day 3. The real reason we came to Europe! To see the Pope per our son Max’s request for his Confirmation. We were extremely grateful to get tickets to the Pope’s Wednesday General Audience and our trip was made when he waved directly

Last day of Kindergarten, 3rd and 6th grade!! What a year of growth for these kiddos! So very proud of them! School’s officially out for summer!! ☀️

This weekend we celebrated the Confirmation and First Communion of our son Max. In Arizona these Sacraments are always done together in the third grade. This was such a special and memorable milestone for our family and we are very proud parents. We
